The Mandela Effect and the Character of God

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He doesn’t change. But there is a whole group of Christians out there right now who are convinced that the Bible does. They are calling it the Mandela Effect and are attributing the changes to a variety of possibilities. Some believe in multiple realities and a slide of consciousness from one to the next. Some say that it is the work of CERN, the great Hadron Collider, and a breakthrough to a “mirror universe.”

Others just believe the world is like a “holodeck” (to use a word from Star Trek) or a “matrix” (like the movie with the same name) with a glitch. Still, others say it’s time travel or magic from the devil. Whatever the explanation, these Christians are sure that it is happening. And, they are slamming their Bibles shut in protest, claiming a “famine of the word of God.” But while these Christians will bring piece after piece of so-called “evidence” of the Bible’s “changes,” they are all ignoring one very important problem with any and all of these theories: the character of God.

What Is The Mandela Effect?

Fionna Broome coined the term “Mandela Effect” in 2009. It describes large groups of people all clearly remembering events that never happened. The name comes from a situation with political activist Nelson Mandela. While history records that he died in 2013, many people remember him dying in prison in the 1980s. In fact, when comparing these false memories, Broome noticed there were similar details of the supposed funeral and a speech that his “widow” made.

But Mandela’s double funeral was just the beginning. As soon as people started hearing about the phenomenon, all of a sudden there were lots of examples. There were tons of tiny details that people were remembering very clearly one way but were finding out that they were not that way at all. The supposed changes involve characters and lines in movies, the spelling of names, and even the location of countries on the map. Whole groups of people remembered things that were simply not in historical evidence.

But the spelling of Berenstain Bears (versus Berenstein Bears) and the silver color of C-3PO’s leg (versus the all-gold version people remember) are minor compared to the “changes” people started to find in the Bible. The most famous one is Isaiah 11:6, “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb…” (versus the lion and the lamb people remember. This is probably from the fact that Jesus is both the Lion and the Lamb). But there are also questions with the words “bottles” (used in the KJV. People remembered “wineskins” which is used in the NKJV and other versions) and “stuff” (which people argued was not a word in use at the time the Bible was written. However, that word was actually in the Oxford Dictionary as early as the 1400s.)

Malevolent Bible Changes

Worse than that, people started finding words that they claim point to a new perversion in the Bible. For example, a website proclaiming supposed Bible changes said that the Bible is now condoning homosexuality. They cite the following verse. “Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left.” They say that it USED to say “Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.” As you will know if you search for these scriptures, the first one is actually Luke 17:35. The second one is Matthew 24:41. They are BOTH in the Bible (and always have been). The gospel writers just chose a little bit different words to describe the same scenario.

Ridiculously enough, I also found a site that claims that the Bible now promotes the transgender agenda. It cites verses such as Isaiah 49:23 in the KJV. “And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers…” Now, as we all know, basic Bible learning is known as “milk.” Mature, deeper learning is known as “meat.” Is it so amazing that the King James Bible would use a metaphor here? John Gill’s Exposition of the Bible interprets the verse just that way. It says that Christian kings and queens would come “who feed the church with the milk of the word, and the breasts of ordinances.”

A Spiritual “Pull”

If you start to research this, first of all, please cover yourself with prayers of protection against deception. There is a real spiritual “pull” there that tells me that this whole idea comes straight from the enemy. Secondly, you will see terms like “the newest changes.” It’s as if this is some kind of ongoing project to rearrange and replace words throughout the Bible. You will also see verses you know, love, and remember, and claims that they have always read a completely different way than you know they have. It’s a frenzy; it’s a blindness. Once people believe this lie, they stop trusting everything in the Word of God. It leads people to paranoia, distress, and lack of faith in the things of God.

The Character of God

Put aside for a moment that the theories of “quantum pollution” and parallel universes are farfetched and like something straight out of science fiction. Ignore that people’s memories are fallible and susceptible to suggestion. Never mind that internet search engines and available information can be tampered with and that pounding people’s brains with false information from memes, t-shirts, and broadcasts can make a big difference in how they remember things. Forget how different Bible versions and slightly different wording in different chapters can cause confusion.

Dismiss people’s tendency to paraphrase when they can’t remember the exact words to a verse. (And the even greater tendency to repeat what people say, handing down verses and prayers in an oral tradition, instead of checking what the Bible actually reads). Discount all of these great explanations for why people are misremembering what the Bible says. And you are still left with the greatest problem with this theory: the character of God simply would not allow for His Word to be changed.

Is God Weak?

2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God.” 1 Peter 1:25 says that “the word of the Lord endures forever.” Hebrews 4:12 says that the “word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to the dividing of soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” John 10:35 says that “scripture cannot be set aside.” If the Bible is God-breathed, enduring forever, alive and active, and cannot be set aside, is God too weak to protect His Word and His own reputation for Truth? God forbid! The God who created the universe and calls the stars by name is well able to protect His own words. He is not at the mercy of quantum physics or the devil’s wiles. He is in control.

Is God Careless?

Ephesians 6:17 tells us that the sword of the spirit is the Word of God. We are in a battle. Most of the full armor of God is defensive, but the sword is the one offensive weapon that God gives us to fight the enemy. When Jesus was tempted by the devil in the wilderness, He fought using the Word. He used Deuteronomy 8:3, Deuteronomy 6:16, and Deuteronomy 6:13 to withstand the enemy, and the enemy had to leave. It is the same with us today.

As believers, we stand on the promises God made in His word. We resist the devil, and he has to flee. Does God care so little about His children that He would allow someone or something to sabotage our weapon? Would He allow the very words that will vanquish the enemy to be changed little by little? God forbid! 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God…”

A Great Deception

It is the strangest thing to talk to people who believe this great deception. The people simply refuse to answer the question as to why God would allow His word to be corrupted. When talking to someone on YouTube about the phenomenon, I commented that people should be very careful what they lend their ears to because to “and to you who hear, more will be given.” The person’s comment was that I didn’t even know the Bible. The actual verse read “For whoever has, to him more will be given.” But he was correcting me to Matthew 13:12 while I was quoting Mark 4:24

Likewise, people comment that the Bible warns about the Mandela Effect when it says that in the last days, there will be a famine of the word of God. But that isn’t what Amos 8:11 actually says. It says there will be a famine for HEARING the words of the Lord. These people are so worried about the Bible being changed by nefarious sources that they have stopped reading their Bibles altogether and are relying solely on what they remember. This absolutely contradicts what the Bible tells us to do. Proverbs 3:5 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding.”

Faith Comes By Hearing

Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.”  Ephesians 5:26 talks about the “washing of water by the word.” Psalm 119:11 says, “Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.” Besides being a sword to fight the enemy, faith, guidance, cleanliness, and protection from sin are just the start of the massive benefits of daily Bible reading. But when people start to question the Word of God, they are questioning the character of God as well. Those who say the Bible has been changed are falling into a trap of the enemy. They no longer trust God or His Word.

The Final Trilemma

CS Lewis popularized the “trilemma argument.” The argument goes that when you add up the things that Jesus Christ said and did when He was on earth, it was not possible that He was just a “nice man” or a “good teacher.” He either had to be a liar, deceiving others for His own gain, a lunatic, himself deceived into believing He was a deity, or Lord, God in the flesh. Given the recorded history, there is no other alternative. I believe the same kind of trilemma exists with the so-called Mandela Effect and the character of God. Either God is weak, unable to protect His Word from the haphazard changes of the universe, He is careless, leaving His people vulnerable to fight the enemy with a defective weapon, or He is well able to protect both His people and His Word.

  1. There’s just not enough ROOM here for all the LOVE I have for this post, Sis!! Amazing information, thoughtfully worded and OH SO NECESSARY for this day and age!! I greatly appreciate your writing and sharing this!! I have shared it everywhere, and will like it share it again at a later date, just because! Praise the Lord, our God, may his will be done!

    1. So God’s name isn’t Jealous? Or is it? The last few bibles I’ve seen say God’s name is Jealous, named Himself after one of the most disgusting sins imaginable? Nope, something has changed. Jealousy is evil and evil is imperfection and God is perfect therefore God cannot be Jealous or, if God actually is jealous then God is in fact the evil entity known as Satan. Lucifer means Light and God means Jealous? Who is on the side of light and who is on the side of dark! How can we trust anything from someone who calls himself Jealous? I mean put Darth in front of Jealous and it sounds like you have yourself a Sith Lord. I feel sick. What if we all have it backwards and Jealous is the real enemy?

      1. God’s name is Jealous. That’s Strong’s Concordance number 7067. God demands exclusive service and will not accept second place in the hearts and lives of people. This is consistent with Luke 14:26 and Luke 10:27. You are comparing God to people, but there is no comparison. He is not prideful when He says His name should be glorified. He is not sinful when He is jealous. He is the one and only true God Who deserves honor and glory and is within His rights to reject those of His creation who do not worship Him alone.

One more time, God is not so weak that the Bible could be changed without His permission. He is not cruel to tell us that the Bible is our weapon against darkness and then allow it to become faulty or suspicious. He is well able to protect His Word.

      2. The whole world has changed.. Disturbing for us who see.. The lion will lay down with the lamb. Now the Lion is a wolf.. That was my first Bible chock.. 1st of many.

      3. I don’t get it. I see the claim that God will not allow his word to be changed yet we know the bible was changed. On a side note: I know it says not to lean on your own understanding yet the bible wasn’t actually written until 400 years after Jesus was gone. *if I understand correctly. As such and taking into consideration that we know the bible was changed, then is it so hard to consider that it may have been changed from how things actually were , during that 400 years that Jesus wasn’t alive … to make sure things were written down the way he wanted.

Before I go on, understand I am on God’s side. I am by nature a good person and it goes against my nature to do stuff that isn’t good. Notice I did not mention legal. :), Anyway to get back to my point/question is the very book which so many claim is perfect; warns to be ware of false profits. (or at least it used to).

It is extremely unfair of God for him to ask his servants to be able to know what is or is not his commandments when we hear a voice in our heads, are given some sort of sign, all that vague crap which is exactly that. No god worth his salt would ask those of us who very much desire to do right by him, to be expected to recognize what he wants from us when we are simple beings. And you can throw all the wishy-washy crap in that you want as to reasons why I should believe this one way and not believe this other, but at the end of the day you cannot prove anything any more than can the others who want me to believe things are the way ‘they’ or their leaders have interpreted the bible. Don’t even get me started on how much could have been changed just by mixing up simple little words like “if, but’ etc. , during translations.

I tell you what I finally settled on. I had been watching near death experiences on youtube. There was one where a woman survived though she lost her two children (to her mate) and though she almost died she survived: now this is a woman who lost her two kids. I didn’t see someone who had went through that, being somebody who would be seeking to make anything up, Have any sort of agenda. She wasn’t the one that wanted the kids dead. They were taken. So I knew she had been through a ringer. For her to claim that she had talked to Jesus and that he said something to the effect that Trump was gonna be president during a second term …. well this was back right after he lost. He was still crying about having been cheated and it seriously looked like not only was he going to lose but that they might lock him away. *either from his own lunacy or the trumped up charges those against him had created.

I said to myself if trump somehow manages to get back into office as incredibly bleak as that look right now, then I have to give what this woman has claimed, credibility. It still remains to be seen if trump actually makes it into office but it is looking more that way all the time.

She said Jesus told her that we had a lot of things wrong. That they had been written down wrong in the bible.

I will try to find that video again if Trump ends up winning because I will be very much more interested in what she had to say about things.

      4. Thanks for your comment, Steve. First, there is none “good” but God. We’re all just broken people in need of a Savior. Second, all of the stuff you mentioned about the Bible being “wrong” might hold water except for one thing. God is REAL. He’s a real person Who speaks to His people through the Word of God and the Spirit Who comes to live inside those who are born again. That Spirit bears witness to the Truth of His Word (as long as you are using the KJV and not the Message or Passion translation).

The person who claims the Bible is wrong is dangerous. The true Spirit of God will never contradict His Word. Trump may very well be reelected, but that doesn’t make her a prophet. The elite are in charge of rigging the elections, and the both the Right and the Left are two wings of the same bird. God takes care of His people, so it’s important that you pray and seek His Holy Spirit. Luke 11:13 says that He gives His Holy Spirit to those who ask.

      5. Read “Gods of the Bible” by Mauro Biglino. Any “god” that was an Elehim was not the creator. Elohim is a plural word and there were more than one. Yahweh was an Elohim… not The God/creator of all things. People don’t read or study, so people don’t REALLY know what’s in the Bible. The word of God is written on the hearts of man. If nothing else, these biblical Mandela effects should push our us to seek truth from within, as written texts clearly can change.

    1. Thank you, Sis! People who believe in this are on me like a dog on a pant leg on social media now. I am praying for their eyes to see, and I am begging God for His protection from spiritual deception. It is no joke.

  2. Awesome article and yes so needed for these times we are in. God doesn’t change especially in our hearts and for those who have ears to hear and eyes to see! I just had another miracle happen this morning and I am smiling and praising as He is always present!

    1. Yes, it takes eyes to see. I have gotten half messages like this and half explaining how I am totally wrong and the Bible is totally NOT the Bible any more. It is so sad. Anyway, maybe you will blog about your miracle. I would love to read it if you do!

  3. Very good article Angela. I compiled three articles on the Mandela Effect a couple of years ago and they’re on our AMTM website, which I personally think totally disproves it, but what i discovered is that no matter how much evidence you give to a believer in that psyop, they refuse to accept it. It’s one of the craziest deceptions out there. Thanks for writing this article!

    1. I remember those articles. They were excellent! It is definitely a spiritual blindness. Crazy days, for sure. Anyway, thank you for the compliment. We can pray God uses both of us for His glory!

  4. You Stated — “Others just believe the world is like a “holodeck” (to use a word from Star Trek) or a “matrix” (like the movie with the same name) ”

My Response — That’s an interesting statement given that the Bible having the word “Matrix” in it is one of the reported Mandela Effects. O.o

    1. Strong’s Concordance lists “matrix” as meaning “womb.” If you have ever seen that movie, that’s pretty much what those pods were. The enemy loves to give new definitions to old words, but it is that hint of truth that makes the bigger lie more dangerous. Thanks for commenting. I’m looking forward to checking out your blog as well.

      1. What do you mean “the enemy loves to give new definitions to old words”? How is this Satan’s fault? What are you talking about? You do realize languages and words change over time right? Words that meant one thing hundreds of years ago are not going to mean the same thing nowadays. For example, the word “gay” used to mean “happy”. Now it means “homosexual”.

  5. You Stated — “The enemy loves to give new definitions to old words, but it is that hint of truth that makes the bigger lie more dangerous. ”

My Response — But in this case they gave the words the same definition because the Matrix is a womb in the movie. If anything the movie now points an entire new generation at the Bible.

If the Mandela Effect is real then keep in mind that nothing has power to do anything without that power coming from God and with permission to do so. Power is nothing without God.

You can’t even scream at God without the sound he permits to allow you. Just a thought

I’ve often said to people, about the war with God, as being a handful of ants attacking the ocean.

To be honest even the ground the ants stand on is soaked with ocean water.

The Mandela Effect is amazing but on a scale from 1 to God it doesn’t even register.

    1. God is awesome! I’m going to adopt your last line and use it in many autuations: “_____ is amazing, but on scale from 1 to God, it doesn’t even register.” Love it!

    2. You get it. GOD is making the changes which are real. The KJV bible is being modernized (President, matrix, unicorn, penny, suburbs, print in a book, …) GOD is showing the faithful the Redeemer is coming. The sun is white no longer yellow. Many satanic creations (books, movies, music) are being exposed. Words, logos changing. the small t is no longer cross shaped. the small a is now a backwards 6.

      1. You are delusional. The god that you just described is not the God of the Bible. God never goes against His character. He never changes. You need to repent, because what you just said is pure blasphemy.

  6. Very astute and articulately written article. I have no argument with your contention. I stumbled upon this article while searching through Google for an article written by a woman whom stated that she has proof that X-RATED situations had replaced certain parts of The Word(and no, not out of Song of Songs), depicting unnecessarily detailed sex acts between a woman and some men; going into disturbing detail of proportion of genetalia and amount of sperm during these sex acts. I’ve heard about the Lion/Wolf and the Lamb-type of claims about the Mandela Effect and The Bible, but when I heard this, I almost flipped my lid! Had to do some research to verify. Still cannot locate either the woman’s article nor the passages referenced by her. Truly disturbing claims!

    1. That is so bizarre! People who “find” things like that are not looking for Jesus. Please remember to pray for protection before reading those articles. There is a lot of spiritual deception going on. Thanks for your kind words. Blessings!

  7. Hello Angela,
After reading your article, and then these comments, I just have to comment myself.
I don’t know what is happening, but if this IS real, He’s allowed it. I don’t understand it, but if I had a chance to speak with God directly, and knew of His plan to allow this, would I advise Him… “better not, shows poor character… weak, careless”. No! Back in the day, if someone was told God was going to let His Son be tortured and murdered, would they not think NO, because what sort of character would allow that!
    Two examples most puzzle me.
    1. How can so many business’ clothing, restaurants, pubs etc have Lion and Lamb in their title. Plus so many artworks and tattoos depicting it. They all just copied each other?
    2. I’ve been a calligraphist since before Google days, and once I could access, I’ve been looking at beautiful penmanship of KJV verses. I now cannot fathom how so many people took the great time and effort to hand write The Lord’s Prayer, and make a mistake on trespasses. (The rest of the wording is KJV language)
The Bible warns of a great deception. Will it really be a deception that Christians will see straight through? I think it would be incredibly arrogant of me to think I couldn’t be taken by a deception, whatever it is. I know my little mind cannot comprehend His ways. I choose to trust Him, but not to speak on His behalf.

    1. Thanks for your thoughts. We must trust the Lord, and that includes His Word. One time, I was trying to tell someone who believed in the Mandela Effect that we had to be careful what we heard because for them who hear, more will be given. Someone rebuked me that I completely messed up the verse. It was to those who HAVE, more will be given. But the guy was correcting me to Matthew 13:12, and I was paraphrasing Mark 4:24. People are fallible. They are also followers and will pick up an alliterative image (lion and lamb) before looking it up in scriptures to see if it be so. I don’t take anything for granted and pray for the Lord to protect me against deception virtually every day. I refuse to be suspicious of His Word.

  8. That is totally immature and silly. There could be no diety God we are a product of biological evolution. It’s been proven over and over again that we share everything including a common ancestor with all primates. And your article is totally ridiculous your article is not based on anything that has creditials at all it’s like a the rampage of a little kid in Sunday school and an outright assault on people’s belief that many things appear to have changed including the fallable lack of scientific knowledge this silly man made bible.
You keep saying the Bible is infallible and has credibility because of this fake desert diety.

    So what about Matthew 12.

‘At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat.’

This is impossible. Columbus first brought the new found corn to spain in the year of 1493, previous to this there was no corn in Europe or in Jerusalem or anywhere else.
The old cult leader Jesus whose real name was Joshua never picked ears of corn from the priest fields.

I guess the old desert diety the Hebrew God his silly book is fallable after all.
    That old scam artist.

Ha. I could go on but why waste the time.
You will just find a way to support your silly view.
You’re a kookoo for coco Jesus Christian.
    You all do stupid stuff.

  9. You actually posted my comment. Thank you very much. Well we know that if a God makes human beings separate from the animals than there is no connection between animals and humans. So you have two opposing species clearly designed differently and no signs of direct common ancestors. But inside humans the opposite is true. We share 100 percent direct linage to animals closest are the primates and all animals find common ancestrery within other animals.
So the bible is full of bad affects but you have to remember who wrote it.
    A good example is 2 Samuel 24
    Quote.
‘Again the anger of the LORD burned against Israel, and He stirred up David against them, saying, “Go and take a census of Israel and Judah.”
So the king said to Joab the commander of his army, who was with him, “Go now throughout the tribes of Israel from Dan to Beersheba and register the troops, so that I may know their number.”

The same bible verse in another book 1 Chronicles 21
    Quote.
‘Then Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel.
So David said to Joab and the commanders of the troops, “Go and count the Israelites from Beersheba to Dan and bring me a report, so that I may know their number.”

After God does this evil deed this is said.
‘After David had numbered the troops, his conscience was stricken and he said to the LORD, “I have sinned greatly in what I have done. Now, O LORD, I beg You to take away the iniquity of Your servant, for I have acted very foolishly.”

After obeying Gods request and doing the requested count he kills 70,000 people so he could satisfy his sick desires. That’s probably why Lucifer and 1/3 of all angels in heaven rebelled. Same with Moses. God killed Moses before killing a couple other nations he wanted to kill.

This is a quote from History Collection Larry Holzwarth
‘In the King James Version’s Gospel of Mark, the resurrected Jesus appears to several people, including his closest followers, known as the disciples. In the oldest extant texts of Mark’s gospel, the story of Jesus appearing to the disciples is not present. The chapters of Mark following the Crucifixion were added sometime in the second or third century, what became in the King James Version Mark 16:9-20.’
In the Gospel of Luke, as Jesus was dying upon the cross, he addressed the two criminals being crucified alongside of him, though the version currently appearing in the Bible is at odds with the earliest extant copies of the gospels. Another change in Luke, which does not appear in the early copies of the Gospel attributed to him, is that Jesus asked forgiveness of his executioners, because they did not know what they were doing. The oldest known copies of Luke’s gospel do not recount the forgiveness bequeathed from the cross, the story was added in the fifth century in the Greek documents. As with many additions, it was likely added to reflect the Christian teaching which had evolved by that time.’

Thank you so much for allowing me to comment.
    That was very kind.

    1. Tony, keep reading it does change. I has changed it use to make a little more sense. I do not know how long it’s been going on? and for everyone else common sense tells me that if there was no chance ever of anything being added or taken away from the Bible why would Revelation say this:

      Revelation 22:18-19 (NIV):

“I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.”

And for those who say its only for that scroll in revelation, see below.

This warning is specific to the book of Revelation, but it reflects a broader principle found in Deuteronomy 4:2 (NIV) regarding the entire Bible:

“Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.”

the principle of not adding to or taking away from God’s word applies not only to spoken teachings but also to written texts. This principle is often understood to mean that we should not alter or add to the Scriptures in any form, whether written or spoken, to maintain the integrity and authority of God’s revealed word.

If there was no chance of anything else in the word being changed by humans or any other entity, why would it say this warning, if people could not change add or remove. God does not use words for nonsense although now there is a lot of nonsense making us look like idiots.

Deuteronomy 4:2 (NIV): “Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.”

Proverbs 30:6 (NIV): “Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.”

To keep it light…Corn? is it the devil changing the bible or is it Monsanto?
Christians , brothers and sister to be more like Jesus we must submit to…

Monsanto, now part of Bayer after a merger, has developed genetically modified (GM) varieties of corn (maize) and holds patents on some of these varieties. These patents cover the specific genetic modifications made to the corn plants, which may include traits such as resistance to certain pests or herbicides. Farmers who wish to grow these patented GM corn varieties typically need to purchase seeds from Monsanto/Bayer or their licensed distributors and agree to abide by the terms of the licensing agreement, which may include restrictions on saving and replanting seeds.

      Peace

  10. I have been having this debate the last few weeks and it is very draining. No matter how much you try to explain to people that God’s word cannot supernaturally/magically be changed by nefarious beings, they won’t believe you.
I’ve said many things exactly the same as mentioned in this post but the deception runs deep.

It seems to me that people are falling for lying signs and wonders already. 😦
If this is what these professing Christians are falling for now, what will they fall for when the supernatural really ramps up in the last of the last minutes?! :/
“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” Matthew 24:24

I have a saying, ‘if you think you can’t be deceived, you are deceived already’. Time is getting short and the Enemy is trying so hard to get people to disbelieve the word of God because he knows it is the key to the ‘warfare’ we are waging.

Thanks so much for this post. Going to share on fb.

  11. I have other Mandela effects, praise the Lord amen. Or we can do trivia. Question. How fallible is the word?
And may the Lord be with me while I do this.
Starting with Judas Iscariot in Matthew 27:5 Judas hangs himself.
In Acts 1:18 Judas Iscariot, a poor man he wanted a field, so with the money he earned he bought the field and he fell headlong and burst open in the middle and his bowles gushed out.

Who killed Goliath? David was suppose to in 1 Samuel 17, 23, 50 but… The Mandela effect says Elhanan did in 2 Samuel 21, 19.

Which one of the sons of David did Jesus descend from?
Well you’d think it was Solomon Matthew 1:6
but… The Mandela effect says it was Nathan Luke3:31

Who was Jesus’ mother, Mary, who was the father of her husband Joseph?
You might think it was Jacob Matthew 1:16
Oh yeah, But the mandela effect says bingo, it was…
    Heli in Luke 3:23

Who killed Saul? Well you’d think that he took his own sword and fell upon it, 1 Samuel 31:4-6 , but…the old Mandela effect says that an Amalekite slew him in 2 Samuel 1:1- 16.

These are a few of many examples of the Mandela effect praise the Lord amen. Time is short. Time is running out believers.
But don’t fear.. other mandela effects await the chosen ones and it is written. Amen.

    1. Praise the Lord, Tony! You have provided a fabulous Bible study for me this morning. Thank you!

      1. Judas Iscariot: In Acts 1:17, Judas was described as one of the twelve Apostles. He “purchased a field” in that the place where he chose to hang himself was bought in his name with the with 30 pieces of silver he returned. This was discussed as a prophecy in Zechariah 11:12-13.
      2. Goliath: David, indeed, killed Goliath while Elhanan killed Goliath’s brother. 2 Samuel 21:19 says, “And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim, a Bethlehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam.”
      3. Jesus’ lineage #1: In Matthew, we are looking at Jesus as the promised Messiah, so we see His lineage through the “legal” path – which in that time was always through the “father,” in this case Joseph. In Luke, we focus on Jesus’ humanity, so we get the biological path, through Mary. There are two “parents” and two lineages with very specific meanings and implications.
      4. Jesus’ lineage #2: Therefore, Jacob is Joseph’s father (in Matthew 1:16), while Heli is Mary’s father (in Luke 3:23).
      5. Who killed Saul: The Bible says Saul fell on his own sword in 1 Samuel 31:4. It doesn’t say what happened to his crown until 2 Samuel. An Amalekite, supposing he would receive a reward from King David collected the items and finished Saul off quickly from his own mortal wound. “So, I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.”

Proverbs 25:2 says, “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: But the honour of kings is to search out a matter.”

The Bible is the inerrant Word of God. It hasn’t been changed, and there are no contradictions. A little bit of digging clears up all misconceptions. Again, I thank you for a lovely morning Bible study and today I pray over you, Tony, the prayer of Elisha 2 Kings 6:17.

    2. “I see that some of what you are saying is true, but in your haste to disprove, you make mistakes. I went through that as well and was ignored. It was weird. I felt gaslighted, or like people were aliens from another world. It was condescending, so I gave up. I just want to find Christians who love the Lord with all their heart and mind and their neighbor as themselves—true disciples of God. Nowhere in the Bible does it say, “By this all men shall know that you are my disciples: those who can recite verses and scriptures and remember with all accuracy the words and find and see contradictions (which are many, weird, strange, and new ones). Or those who serve and volunteer and ignore all who are lonely, sad, old, widows, orphans, aliens, and victims of war. That is how the world will know we are his disciples.”

I guess if it says that tomorrow in the Bible, then the Mandela Effect is real. I go to a church with 2,500 people, and I feel horrible, lonely, and sad, and my heart hurts. But I smile as I walk silently back to my car, and attend Bible studies where we study, recite scripture, quiz each other, and ask where we are volunteering. They worship politicians as the prophets of God. Jesus’ voice is gone. The word is just some written word you memorize to prove your spirituality or political, ethical, moral, or lack thereof view. “Do not take the name of the Lord in vain, or misuse it.” Not sure of the whole verse; I don’t have time right now except for this.

Claiming to be a Christian but not living according to Christian principles can be seen as taking the Lord’s name in vain. This interpretation aligns with the idea that actions and behaviors should reflect the beliefs and values one professes. Here are a few points on how this interpretation can be understood:

Hypocrisy: Calling oneself a Christian but living in a way that contradicts Christian teachings can be viewed as dishonoring God’s name.
Representation: Christians are called to be ambassadors of Christ. When someone identifies as a Christian but behaves in ways that are contrary to Christian values, it can tarnish the reputation of Christianity and God’s name.
Integrity: The commandment emphasizes integrity in one’s relationship with God. Living authentically according to one’s faith is part of honoring God’s name.
This interpretation focuses on the broader principle of living a life that truly reflects one’s professed beliefs and values, thereby honoring God not just in words but also in deeds.

This I have failed to do myself and wish to be better:

The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
